POLICIES FOR: SALES / ORDERS / SHIPPING / RETURNS When you place an order via the internet you will receive an e-mail confirming the credit card transaction. By checking the box terms and conditions and the "Checkout" button below, you acknowledge that you are giving us permission to deduct the funds for this order including any shipping and/or applicable sales tax from your credit card account and that you accept our Sales, Returns and Refund Policy.
Our Promise: We promise to serve the public satisfactorily. We strive to be fair and reasonable with each customer on any complaint or requested adjustment. We want you to have the luxury of beautiful glass products at affordable prices.
Ordering: We use the most secure technology to ensure secure use of your credit card. In addition, credit card information is never kept. Items are normally processed and shipped within 72 hours, but not more than 7 business days. Occasionally, partial shipments may occur; however, one shipment is preferred so items may be held in order to ship the complete order. Each piece is unique, thus out of stock items will not be backordered due to the unique artistic aspects of each piece.
We will e-mail announcements of upcoming events and specials (such as sales or free shipping), so please keep your e-mail address current via our Forecasting signup. Email addresses will never be shared with others. Retail promotions do NOT apply to wholesale orders. Wholesale customers will be informed of promotional offers by e-mail.
General Public promotions do NOT apply to wholesale orders. If there are special promotions for the Wholesale customer, it will be clearly stated in a separate email to just Wholesale customers.
Commissioned Pieces: After a request for a commissioned piece, the artist will contact you directly to establish a time for a thorough discussion of desired product. Each artist retains artistic freedom in completing all pieces, while trying to achieve a result that the customer will enjoy. Before beginning a piece, the artist will provide a written description, suggested color schemes, and sketch of product. Before beginning the work, 50% of the negotiated price is due. production is initiated. Every effort will be made to ensure your satisfaction. Any major modifications will be discussed with you prior to the change. However, glass behavior can not always be fully predicted. Upon completion of the product, if you are artistically not satisfied, only payment covering cost of materials will be charged and the product returned Before returning the item, contact the artist for instructions. If the product is not returned in its original condition within 14 days, the full cost will be retained. If the product does not fit the specified dimensions provided within a ½ inch and is not useable, you will not be charged if the item is returned. If it is not returned.
Sales Tax: Sales Tax is collected on purchases shipped to an address within the state of West Virginia and Maryland. Sales Tax rates are subject to change.
Wholesale accounts must be established prior to ordering, in order to have your Re-sale Tax ID on file.
Shipping Carriers: The orders are shipped US Postal Service (USPS) Priority & First Class Mail. Orders shipped to other countries outside the US, often require customs forms to be completed and may require the customer to pay some duty.
Shipping Cost: Your online order statement will include an estimate of shipping charges for delivery within the continental U.S. (International costs may be higher). However, the actual shipping charges will be based on the actual weight of the entire order, including packaging, if it requires more than one box and/or if you have requested insurance coverage. In cases where more than one item is ordered, your total shipping cost might be lower than what is calculated on your online order statement.
Expedited Shipping: If you would like expeited shipping, this request should be made in the Comment Box during check-out. While expedited shipping may not be possible in all cases, we will try to accomodate your request. Shipping time is based upon USPS priority mail (3-5 days). USPS next Day delivery is also available at an additional cost depending on the weight of your order.
Delivery Times: Each order is shipped within 7 days. On rare occasions, an order can take up to 7 business days to be shipped. Once processed, expect delivery in 3 to 10 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. The delivery time frames are based upon the carrier; therefore, we can not guarantee the delivery date. If possible when shipping, we will provide you with tracking information.
Delivery Addresses: We strive to maintain a high level of customer service and protection. To avoid fraud, we reserve the right to clarify shipping information if the delivery address does not match the address on your Credit Card Statement or there are any indications of fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to inquire for further clarification, and we reserve the right to refuse shipment. We apologize for any inconvenience; however, this policy is in your best interest as well. Please fill in your contact information and street address (or ship to address information, if different) as we will make every effort to fulfill your request safely.
Our Return/Exchange Policy: We understand that art is a preference and your satisfaction is important. If you are not satisfied with your item, first inform us of your intentions to return it. You may return the item within 14 days of receipt. When returning the item, carefully repack items to prevent breakage and insure it for the purchase price. We do our best to pack the glass items to prevent breakage, but we can not guarantee that it will not be damaged, so we strongly recommend that you select insurance. If the product is damaged in shipment, and insurance was not purchas in shipment, and insurance was not purchased, no refunds or exchanges will occur, other than the minimum coverage from the shipper. If insurance was purchased, please notify us immediately of the damage and return the item within 2 weeks after delivery. You can request the artist make a replacement or receive a full refund. It will not always be possible to obtain a replacement; that determination will be on a case by case basis. a Please remain mindful that art can not always be exactly replicated. To return or exchange an item, please: •Properly ship the item(s) back to us with a copy of your receipt. •The item must be shipped insured with signature required.
Insurance: All orders are automatically insured. Any costs will be added to your order. In general, the first $100 is $1.00. It is approximately $2.00 per $100. Note: All deliveries that are insured will require a signature.
Damage Claims If you choose not to insure and there is damage to the merchandise, please address the lost with the carrier upon delivery. If you requested insurance, damage or shortage on USPS shipments, please keep damaged merchandise with its original carton. This is a claim requirement. If you see any obvious damage, note it on the delivery slip that you sign. Call your local USPS office to schedule an inspection of the damage. Please notify us via phone or email of the damage within 1 week of delivery. When the original package is returned to us within 2 weeks of the damage notification, we will replace the damaged merchandise at no additional charge. Please understand that each piece is artistically unique; therefore, we will do our best to replicate it as close as possible, but there may be some variation. In order to claim insurance compensation: •Please pack securely and return merchandise in or with original packaging. •Include a copy of the invoice •Include the USPS assessment of damage.
Lost Orders: On a rare occasion, an order will be lost in shipping. Once an order has left our shipping department, use of the USPS tracking number must be used. Again, we encourage customers to pay for the optional insurance coverage in order to recover the value of a lost order, especially, for high dollar value orders or orders being shipped outside the US. Once the package leaves our possession, it is the customers’ responsibility, especially when out of the country orders reach the Customs department in the customer's country.
